A new piano festival in autumn: Six concerts in three days with Idil Biret, a former Wunderkind and pupil of Wilhelm Kempff. We welcome virtuous amateurs. For ten years, this has been a fixed term in the piano world of Europe and America. Grandiose concerts attract thousands of visitors. In 2008, the organization "Les Amateurs virtuoses - Piano Festival" was founded in France and organized tours worldwide. This festival will be held for the first time in Bayreuth (after guest performances in Brazil, China, Hungary, Russia, Argentina, Morocco, etc.).
Idil Biret, giving master classes and taking part in the final concert, will also hold a special concert on Saturday, October 21, at 7 pm in the Kammermusiksaal of Steingraeber Haus.
The master classes take place in the historical Rokokosaal:
Friday, October 20, 3 to 6 pm
